What you'll do:
As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all accounting activities related to operations. You will ensure that stakeholders are supported with consistently accurate and insightful information through internal and external financial reporting. Your role will involve delivering all month-end activity and providing detailed analysis for management to enhance understanding of the cost base. You will work collaboratively with other teams within Operations Finance to drive cost-saving initiatives supporting the overall strategic plan. Furthermore, you will maintain effective cross-functional relationships, providing subject matter expertise to diverse stakeholders.
What you bring:
* Qualified accountant with experience in large, complex entities.
* Excellent analytical skills with a strong grasp of variance analysis and key drivers.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
* Proven ability to interpret accounting complexity across balance sheet, cash flow and P&L.
* Highly motivated self-starter with initiative for continuous improvement.
* Ability to explain finance concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* Excellent Excel skills (up to basic macros) and Planning Analytics experience preferred.
