Control Systems Engineer (Static)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus project work. Location: Dudley, Birmingham.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Holidays: 25 days. No travelling required.
We are seeking a Controls Systems Engineer with knowledge of safety system design for a large manufacturing site. The role involves programming PLCs, DCS and functional safety equipment for new manufacturing projects in an ATEX environment.
Responsibilities
* Programming, modifying and commissioning PLCs
* Programming Distributed Control Systems
* Checking and calibrating instrumentation
* Maintaining functional safety systems
* Project‑based and routine maintenance work
Qualifications
* Control Systems Engineer experience
* Understanding of functional safety and SIL
* Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens)
* Knowledge of DCS/HMI systems
* Looking for a static role
