Aviation Composite Engineer

Chevron is proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilled composite engineer for their growing team.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast‑paced MRO environment, you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assemblies
* Conduct inspections and assess damage using non‑destructive methods and visual analysis
* Manufacture and fit composite components using pre‑preg, wet lay‑up, or vacuum bagging techniques
* Prepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
* Liaise with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support efficient workflow
* Operate in accordance with safety protocols, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications
* Contribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniques
Requirements
* Proven experience in composite repair and manufacturing within the aviation/aerospace industry
* Understanding of EASA/CAA regulations and composite repair standards
* Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid
* Familiarity with technical drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
* A strong eye for detail, manual dexterity, and quality‑first approach
* Relevant training or certification in composite technologies (desirable)
