Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Geography subject knowledge.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons.
* Provide effective classroom cover when required.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
* Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
* Support students’ progress and curiosity about the world.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Geography (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
* Confident teaching Geography across KS3–KS4.
* Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
* Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
