We’re looking for a Studio Manager to join our implant team and ensure the smooth running of our Cardiff-based creative studio, coordinating the workflow and acting as the vital link between our client and internal teams. Role Overview As Studio Manager, you will be the organisational backbone of our creative studio, responsible for managing the end-to-end process of client projects. You will liaise directly with clients to gather requirements, manage feedback, and ensure deadlines are met, all while overseeing the internal workflow to keep projects on track. You’ll be integral in balancing client expectations with our creative and operational capabilities, ensuring both quality and efficiency are maintained throughout. Key Responsibilities • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the internal team, taking project briefs, gathering requirements, and managing expectations. • Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of client projects, from initial brief through to final delivery. Track progress, manage timelines, and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule. • Workflow Coordination: Ensure smooth handoffs and communication between the creative, production, and client services teams. Manage the flow of work across multiple projects at once, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines. • Client Amendments: Manage the back-and-forth with clients for amendments and feedback, ensuring that all changes are captured, communicated clearly, and implemented in a timely manner. • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of studio resources, ensuring that the team has what it needs to deliver work on time and to a high standard. • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of creative output by reviewing and overseeing all deliverables before they are presented to clients, ensuring they meet brief requirements and brand guidelines. • Client Expectations: Work closely with the client services team to ensure clients’ expectations are aligned with the project scope, offering clear, proactive communication on progress, delays, or potential issues. • Reporting: Provide regular project updates and status reports to the senior team and clients. Highlight any risks or obstacles that could impact timelines or quality. • Studio Organisation: Maintain a tidy, efficient, and well-organised studio environment, managing both digital and physical assets. Skills & Experience • Experience: At least 2-3 years’ experience in a studio management, project management, or production coordination role within a creative environment, preferably in a content marketing or advertising agency. • Strong Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Client-Facing: Confident and professional in client interactions, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations and relationships. • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that the final product meets the brief and is of the highest quality. • Problem-Solving: Ability to foresee and resolve challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle, keeping things on track and finding solutions quickly. • Team Player: Strong collaborator, with the ability to work alongside both creative and client service teams to deliver the best outcomes for the client. • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Slack, Monday.com) and other relevant software. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
