Job Title: CNC Technician\n\nLocation: Stoke on Trent\n\nSalary: Competitive\n\nShifts: Monday – Thursday.\n\nHours: 07.30am – 16.30pm\n\nJob Description:\n\nTXM Recruit are actively recruiting for a CNC Technician to work within the production team to support the overhaul, manufacture, and maintenance of locomotive and wagon wheelsets, contributing to the delivery of the weekly production plan. This is a hands-on mechanical role, requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality and safety.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nMaintain high-quality machined products in line with daily production KPIs.\n\nCarry out maintenance, overhaul, strip-downs, rebuilds, and new builds of locomotive and wagon wheelsets.\n\nSet and operate manual and CNC vertical borers and CNC lathes.\n\nWork to tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment.\n\nRead and interpret technical and orthographical drawings and specifications.\n\nEnsure all measuring equipment remains in calibration.\n\nAdhere to COSHH requirements for materials and substances used during overhaul and manufacture.\nEnsure all machinery PPM and daily maintenance activities are
