Wymondham College seeks to appoint a part:time Food and Nutrition Technician to assist the students and department teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The personal competencies expected of all College support staff are:
* The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others;
* Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team;
* Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions; the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges.
The professional competencies expected of a Food Technician are:
* Have a genuine and keen interest in cooking and food preparation;
* Have an understanding of recipes, food ordering and food budgeting;
* Have access to a car and have a full driving licence.
The qualifications and previous experience required for a Food Technician are:
* A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE. (all roles
* except cleaners, catering staff and exam invigilators).
* Have experience working in the food industry (preferable : not essential).
