Come help us harness the power of Digital Core Infrastructure Organization overview: The Digital Core Site Services Team is actively looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager, known internally as IT Site Services Leader (SSL). Are you passionate about IT Infrastructure and Problem Solving. We are looking for you to drive the delivery of Infrastructure services to the local business across all Digital Core Services (DC) areas, leading a diverse team of infrastructure engineers. You will support our Northern European Hub sites of Basingstoke, Bracknell, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. What You will Be Doing: As an onsite contact, you and your team will have responsibility for collaborating with business areas to provide customers with positive outcomes through optimizing the delivery and consumption of IT services including local essential initiatives not managed by the global External Service Providers (ESPs). You'll be the point of contact for local ESPs and be accountable for the day-to-day IT operational activities as well as special projects impacting users in this region. Be responsible for execution of service and project delivery, provide coordination and guidance to the local team. Ensure quality service delivery within budget and on time. Provide oversight on day-to-day service support and operation activities, including incident, problem, configuration, change, release management. Be responsible for execution/delivery of Digital Core services, comprising collaboration, digital workplace, network and hosting services and service management and supplier optimization. Effectively handle communication and coordinate with global, regional, and local IT teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution. Respond to changes, coordinate escalation, and facilitate delivery of new IT Support requirements by the local business through timely intervention to meet committed timelines. Monitor and evaluate IT service tiers, customer demand, problems and usage and take appropriate action, including hands on delivery when required. By working jointly with business and research teams you will identify, scope, and complete analytic efforts that answer business/scientific questions, solve business/scientific needs, and make valuable contributions. Handle failures in services on the operational level, co-ordinate troubleshooting activities for complex issues. Provide coordination when multiple teams are involved in problem resolution. Resource management and oversight of onsite ESP/contract resources in getting Digital Core services delivered onsite. Participate in annual business planning to ensure sufficient budget in alignment with business demands. Build effective working relationships with business partners, local/regional/global IT groups, ESPs and vendors. Act as a change agent to secure successful adoption and implementation of global GIS services. Be an inclusive leader of your team and beyond. What You Should Bring: Proven experience in an Infrastructure technical role (Desktop/Mobility/Network/Conference Room Technologies) Windows/Apple/MAC/iOS platform experience Excellent customer service, ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action. Experience with Executive level support/processes. Ability to negotiate and influence. Broad knowledge of IT Service Support (ITIL) ESP/Vendor management experience. People leadership skills. Strong collaboration and partnering skills. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priority projects and work under pressure. Basic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Additional Information: Physical presence on site will be split between Basingstoke and Arlington Square (Bracknell) sites with remote support to the Nordic affiliates. Minimal to moderate amounts of after hour notifications and incident management engagement. 10- 15% travel between UK and Nordic Sites. Flexible working is offered. Sounds like you?
