Our client, Walsall Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Family Safeguarding team.
The role will involve the following:
* Completing statutory visits CIN, CP and CIC
* Chairing CIN and Core Group Meetings
* Holding caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC
* To include some cases that may be in PLO, or S31 Care Proceedings.
* Completion of Court Reports, risk assessments and parenting assessments.
* Attending Court with support of Senior practitioner or Team manager.
* Supporting with Duty rota.
* West locality – Ilmington House, Darlaston
* Hybrid working

Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* Must have significant experience in children’s social care, in particular within this type of setting
* Must have court experience
