Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data and IT Manager located in Buckfast. The Data and IT Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the business IT strategy, maintain and control the security of our and our customers' data and maintain our ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials certifications.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and implement appropriate business IT strategies, cost-effective implementation and use
* Provide strategic IT advice to the Directors, owners and Executive Chairman, helping the company maintain our use of the best and most cost-effective IT and security solutions
* Manage the day-to-day use of our internal IT ensuring the team has access and understanding of the tools they need, there is a coordinated approach to new IT / uses of IT and the use of IT is secure
* Manage our use of Azure cloud services for the hosting of our and our customers’ data
* Ensure company IT policies are communicated throughout the organisation and that they are followed at all times
* Ensure security of data is maintained and continually reviewed in line with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
* Manage the preparation of the annual ISO 27001 audit
* Manage relationship with external IT support
* Manage the purchase / subscription and use of third-party IT tools e.g. App Check, Maytech FTP, Quatrix, TeamViewer, BIT phishing simulation
* Purchasing and contracting of IT hardware for the team; mobile phones, laptops, headsets etc
* Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of others providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
* Reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
* Analyse problematic IT situations and occurrences and provide solutions to maximise data security
Qualifications
* Data Management, IT Operations, and Software Implementation skills
* Data Security and Integrity knowledge
* Experience with EPoS systems and software solutions
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and project management skills
