We’re working in close partnership with a vibrant, community-driven primary school in BS7 to find experienced SEN Teaching Assistants ready to make a real difference this September. This is a large, diverse primary where every child is seen and supported. There’s a real sense of community, with staff, families and pupils all pulling in the same direction. Reading and storytelling sit at the heart of learning, with a rich curriculum designed to build confidence, curiosity and character. Inclusion isn’t a buzzword here, it’s how they operate day to day. Staff work closely with families and external professionals to support children with a wide range of needs, from communication and emotional regulation to physical and sensory support. The role You’ll be supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them access learning, build confidence, and feel safe in the classroom. Day to day, that might look like: Providing consistent, calm support tailored to individual needs Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Supporting emotional regulation and social development Adapting activities so every child can take part and succeed What we’re looking for This one’s important, SEN experience isn’t optional.
