Overview
This is a bank 0hrs contract offering a casual, part‑time role with flexible working. As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Barchester care home, you will look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and supporting the clinical team in a specific area such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
* Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
* Desire to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities; Senior Carer Assistants often progress to Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
