Personal Assistant Required – Galashiels
Salary/Hourly Rate: £15.50 plus milage and expenses
Contract: Permanent
A personal assistant is required to support a 23-year-old man in his home. The client has learning difficulties and mobility issues. He is not aggressive and does not require hoisting, etc.
He has a great sense of humour and enjoys meeting new people!
Main duties:
Help with dressing, breakfast, transporting to the Cornerstone Day Centre – Galashiels.
Additional:
Additional hours may be required at end of the day in terms of transporting him home. This will be ad hoc and is dependent on parents’ work. Notice will be given.
Due to nature of the role, a full driving licence and own car is essential.
