Octavius Infrastructure, a trusted leader in rail infrastructure services, is seeking an Electrification & Plant Supervisor to join our Southern Renewals Enterprise team. In this role, you'll oversee the delivery of electrification and plant renewals and enhancements, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. You'll also lead and develop a team of technicians and operatives while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrification and plant assets, including overhead line equipment, power supply systems, signalling power, and lighting.
* Ensure all works meet design specifications, standards, and procedures.
* Monitor progress, performance, and quality, implementing corrective actions where needed.
* Maintain accurate asset registers and documentation.
* Provide technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors, resolving issues promptly.
* Support and develop team members through regular reviews and skills development.
* Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, fostering a positive safety culture.
* Build strong relationships with project managers, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

You'll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)
* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card
* Proven experience in electrification and plant supervision within the rail industry
* Knowledge of High Voltage (HV) feeders and associated equipment
* Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
* Full UK driving licence
