Senior Utility Surveyor
Freedom Professional Services is recruiting for an experienced Senior Utility Surveyor or junior utility surveyors. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role with regular home, site and office work, offering a competitive salary, commercial fleet vehicle and flexible benefits.
Responsibilities
* Produce detailed PAS 128 compliant surveys and accurate information on an as‑required basis for analysis by planners, builders and cartographers.
* Utilise a range of equipment in the execution of PAS 128 compliant surveys, including electromagnetic locators, GPRs, GPS, TS and conventional methods.
* Resolve practical planning and development problems on site.
* Interpret data using record drawings, maps, charts, plans and other related forms of presentation.
* Use CAD and other IT software to interpret data and present information.
* Timely and accurate production of reports in line with project requirements.
* Work collaboratively with project‑based personnel to execute project requirements, ensuring strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Undertake all reasonable tasks assigned by the Survey Manager.
Qualifications
* Strong experience undertaking utility surveys in a variety of industries and locations.
* Knowledge of PAS 128 and experience with utility detection instruments, location instruments and post‑processing of data.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Knowledge of n4ce or other survey software (desirable).
* Knowledge of IQMaps/GRED HD or other GPR software (desirable).
* Knowledge of Wincan or other CCTV software (desirable).
* Forward‑thinking, dedicated, and experienced in CCTV surveys.
