We’rerepresenting a highly respected, national consultancy with a strong presence across the UK, currently seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join their expanding team. The Role:
This varied position offers both project-facing and industry-influencing responsibilities. You’ll be joining a dynamic team with an ambitious, forward-thinking culture focused on delivering outstanding environmental outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering environmental assessments (e.g. BREEAM, WELL, HQM) throughout project lifecycles
* Supporting the development of holistic sustainability strategies for a range of clients
* Conducting modelling and analysis including: embodied carbon, circular economy potential, operational energy, overheating, and more
* Contributing to the development of energy and net zero strategies
* Supporting and mentoring graduate team members
* Participating in R&D initiatives and knowledge-sharing efforts within the wider consultancy network
About You:
We’re looking for someone with hands-on sustainability consultancy experience and the ambition to develop both their own expertise and that of the wider industry.
You’re likely to have experience with some of the following:
* BREEAM, HQM, WELL, Fitwel
* Sustainability and energy planning documentation
* Whole life carbon and circular economy reporting
* Energy modelling using tools such as IES and Elmhurst
* Net zero strategies, dynamic thermal modelling, and in-use energy assessments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience within the built environment sector
* A relevant degree in sustainability, engineering, or environmental science
* Previous experience in a sustainability or building services consultancy
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
* Passion for creating meaningful, measurable environmental outcomes
