About the School:
We are working with a group of welcoming and supportive SEN school in the RH1 area that caters to students with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school pride themselves on creating a nurturing, structured environment where students feel safe, understood and empowered to succeed.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small class within a specialist setting. You will deliver a personalised curriculum tailored to meet individual learning needs, supported daily by experienced and knowledgeable teaching assistants.
You will be supporting children with a vairiety of needs such as:
• Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
• Behavioural or communication needs
• Additional learning or physical needs

✅ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
✅ Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of individual needs
✅ Monitor, assess and track student progress
✅ Set clear, realistic learning goals for learners
✅ Foster a calm, consistent and supportive classroom environment
✅ Work collaboratively with support staff, parents and external professionals
About You – Our Ideal Teacher:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting (preferred)
• Confident behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Patient, resilient and committed to inclusive education
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
