As a SEN Tutor, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
* Record student progress and report on this weekly.
* Be understanding, empathetic and patient.
* Record attendance.
* Be organised, dependable and creative.
* Be calm, fair and adaptable.
About you:
o Experience working with young people in UK schools
o Background in SEN education or alternative provision- desirable but not essential
o Confident delivering Maths and English
o Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
o Able to build trusting relationships and foster a love of learning
o Experience of working with young people with SEMH needs

Hours - 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
+ Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
