National Express has a great opportunity to join our internationally known company as a Mechanical Support in our Perry Barr Garage. As a key member of the team, your role will involve assisting with vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. You should have a mechanical interest, previous experience, a manual car driving licence (PCV desirable), a drive to succeed, and a passion for hands-on work. Night shifts are from 22:00 to 06:30, any 5 days over 7.
What you'll do...
1. Manage service duties through bus allocations, changeovers, and garage plans.
2. Carry out routine services, including oil changes, efficiently to manufacturer standards.
3. Conduct road wheel changes.
4. Repair minor defects as needed.
5. Maintain all documentation according to company procedures.
6. Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Fire Regulations.
