Our client, an established fabrication business in Pudsey, is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer due to growth and demand. The role involves new installations, breakdowns, servicing, and repairs, primarily field-based across the UK.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintenance/Installation of commercial equipment (gas, electric, LPG)
* Following technical drawings for installation and assembly
* Fault finding, repairs, and annual servicing
* Customer liaising and onsite communication
* Effective diary and time management, liaising with head office
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Experienced Gas Engineer, ideally with commercial exposure
* Gas Safe Qualifications (Comcat 1,2,3 & 5 highly desirable)
* Full driving license and willingness to work away Monday-Thursday
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
The typical working week involves 8 or 10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday), with Friday onsite until 12 pm for planning. No weekend work. The role offers career development and funded training.
