About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our Complex Care team, supporting a gentleman with a spinal injury in his family home. Your role will be to ensure he lives a fulfilled life while his complex health needs are well managed.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care tailored to the client’s needs
* Support with hoisting/manual handling and bowel management
* Promote independence and well-being
* Drive the client’s wheelchair-accessible vehicle when required

Client Preferences
* Physically active
* Previous experience supporting individuals with spinal injuries
* Ideally experienced in working with deaf clients (sign language advantageous)

Shift Pattern
* Ad hoc 24-hour shifts to cover sickness and annual leave
* Includes a sleeping night shift

Pay & Benefits
* £320 per 24-hour shift

Requirements
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in a caring role
* Experience with spinal injury and hoisting
* Experience with deaf individuals preferred
* Driver essential
* Enhanced DBS check and three years’ continuous referencing
