What you will do in this Engineering Administrator job As Engineering Administrator, you’ll work closely with the Design Manager and wider teams to maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports, ensuring the smooth operation of engineering and production/assembly processes. Key responsibilities include: Implementing and maintaining the engineering aspects of the company’s ERP system Producing and maintaining component item masters, including up-to-date costs. Creating and updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products. Generating cost estimates for commercial proposals. Maintaining records, data storage, and technical documentation. Making minor updates to engineering drawings. Preparing document packs related to product supply. Maintaining calibration, HSE, training records, and MSDS files. Other tasks as required to support management and business operations. You should have: General level of education; engineering experience or qualification preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach. Ability to read technical drawings. Ideally some experience of CAD modelling and drawing.
