Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to various structures and surfaces. This role requires both mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Mix paints and other materials according to specifications.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with safety regulations.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
* Perform heavy lifting as required for moving materials or equipment.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to painting techniques and equipment operation.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and sanders.
* Experience with power tools including sprayers and sanders is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
