We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity within our Dartford Community Day Services team, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities in West Kent. As a Support Worker, you will help individuals develop essential life skills, use, and be part of their local communities, and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role
You will work as part of a team both in our dedicated building spaces supporting and leading the team to provide outcome focused activities such as cooking, arts and crafts and boccia, and within the local community supporting trips to go fishing, swimming, sailing and bowling to name a few. You will deliver person-centred, outcome-focused support. Your role will involve:
6. Leading and supporting staff on the floor giving guidance where needed ensuring the day runs smoothly.
7. Work alongside the Team coordinator to challenge and improve daily practice.
8. Deputising in the absence of the Team coordinator.
9. Supporting individuals to achieve personal goals and aspirations
10. Promoting independence through tailored care plans
11. Encouraging social inclusion and community participation
12. Assisting with some intimate personal care and mobility needs, including manual handling.
13. Collaborating with colleagues across East & West Kent services as needed.
14. If you are able to drive our service vehicles, this would be great though not essential.

20. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
21. You must be a UK resident with the appropriate right to work documentation.
