The communications team at Solihull Council is looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer with strong visual literacy to join the team and make the Council’s communication stand out from the crowd!
Responsibilities
As the Council’s designer you will have responsibility for the Council’s visual identity and consistent use of its brand, designing everything from annual reports, marketing literature, social media visuals and everything in-between. There are plenty of opportunities to be creative - we are looking for someone who can produce original and high quality designs.
Qualifications
Educated to HND or degree level in graphic design (or related subject) you will already have some experience in a graphic design role, including liaising with clients.
You will need to understand how to deliver print ready work to tight deadlines, create amazing digital content and support editing our short videos.

Location
Due to the nature of the post, this post will be based at our Council House offices in Solihull town centre.

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to bring their portfolio (printed and/or digital) to the interview and will also have to produce some design work to a brief as part of the selection process.
