In this crucial role, you’ll take ownership of the returns process, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient resolution. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll handle customer enquiries relating to returns via phone, email, and eBay. You’ll manage your own cases, liaise with our warehouse and technical teams, and play a key part in enhancing the customer experience by identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. What You’ll Do Take full ownership of product returns – logging, investigating, and resolving cases Manage customer relationships and ensure timely, effective communication Handle eBay and email-based enquiries professionally and promptly Work closely with the Warehouse and Technical teams to identify trends and recurring issues Negotiate and process refunds and source replacement parts Track and manage backorders, shipping issues, and other day-to-day concerns Maintain detailed and accurate administrative records Relay updates and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery What You'll Bring Experience in a high-volume ecommerce returns role (essential) Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail Confident using Excel and navigating warehouse systems (preferable) Knowledge of eBay systems and automotive parts/mechanics (desirable) A calm, can-do attitude with strong listening and problem-solving abilities Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities What's In It For You Discounted petrol & staff discount on parts Health Cash Plan, Critical Illness Cover, and Death in Service (after probation) Additional holiday after 3 years’ service Increased pension contributions after 5 years Family Day and Community Volunteer Day Be part of a growing business that values collaboration, ownership, and customer focus At Charles Trent, we’re committed to creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
