Job Opportunity: Town Planner - Associate Town Planner
We are currently working with one of our clients who is seeking an experienced and motivated planner to join their expanding team. The role involves working on a diverse portfolio of planning applications and site promotion projects across Wales and the South West of England. The team operates from offices in Cardiff and Exeter, offering a supportive environment that values collaboration and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on a range of planning applications and site promotion projects, primarily residential, but also including mixed-use, retail, and educational developments.
2. Collaborate with clients including private individuals, Housing Associations, contractors, housebuilders, and landowners.
3. Contribute to planning policy development and ensure compliance with development management processes.
Ideal Candidate:
* 2 to 15 years of experience in planning, with a solid understanding of development management and planning policy.
* Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Adaptable, capable of handling a variety of projects and tasks.
Positions Available:
Planner, Senior Planner, Principal Planner, or Associate Planner, depending on experience.
Location & Flexibility:
The role can be based in Cardiff or Exeter, with hybrid working options and flexibility depending on experience.
