Our client is seeking a Registered Childrens Care Home Manager to lead a brand-new residential service for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

* Phase 1: Registered Manager Salisbury -based childrens residential home
This role offers the chance to shape services from the ground up, inspire and support teams, and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and The Childrens Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
* Act as a corporate parent, safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of children and young people
* Manage and motivate a team of Support Workers and Seniors through coaching, supervision, and professional development
* Create and manage rotas to ensure the home is effectively staffed
* Build strong relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
* Oversee budgets, reporting, and inspection frameworks
* Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and high standards of care
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Care (or working towards)
* At least 3 years experience as a Registered Manager, or 5 years as a Deputy Manager, in a childrens residential setting
* Proven track record of leading and developing staff teams
* Strong knowledge of The Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
* Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours
* Current UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience setting up a new registered home
* Leadership experience beyond residential care
* Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and positive behaviour support
