We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, has strong interpersonal skills and the desire to make a positive contribution to our service and the wider community. As part of the Leisure Facilities Team at North Warwickshire Borough Council you will be working as a member of the Atherstone Leisure Complex Team, you will be crucial to the development of this busy and constantly progressing leisure facility.
Your key tasks will include assessing individuals’ fitness and creating personal exercise programmes. To update client records and to follow health and safety guidelines, cleaning throughout and general maintaining of tidiness of the gym at Atherstone Leisure Complex. You must have the personality to interact with customers and act as a positive role model/motivate member to promote retention and adherence to exercise.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
