Overview
Tees Valley Combined Authority have an exciting opportunity for a Public Transport Information Officer to join our team. The role will be focused on supporting the delivery of our Bus Service Improvement Plan, helping us to enhance the experience for passengers across Tees Valley by creating a sustainable and well-connected network, with improved waiting facilities and affordable fares.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate, analyse and distribute data and information on local services, including producing at-stop timetables and travel disruption plans.
* Provide accurate and timely updates on transport services across the region.
* Work closely with a wide range of key stakeholders, such as local authorities and local bus operators, supporting the development and delivery of initiatives aimed at improving public transport and the day-to-day lives of people across the region.
Qualifications
* Strong desire to succeed, with the ability to work collaboratively and focus on achieving required outcomes within necessary timescales.
* Excellent concentration and attention to detail, with experience of data interpretation, ideally in relation to public transport services.
* Ability to collate, analyse, input and present information across various formats.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with different audiences through a range of channels and build relationships with stakeholders.
