Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings) Location: Coventry and surrounding areas Hours: School hours (flexible) Contract Type: Part-time / Flexible About the Role: We are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Coventry. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one sessions either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours. You will be supporting students who may have additional needs, including SEND, SEMH, or those currently out of mainstream education. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on individual learning needs Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science Adapt teaching strategies to suit different abilities and learning styles Build strong, positive relationships with pupils Monitor progress and provide regular feedback Requirements: QTS or equivalent, or at least 2 years’ UK teaching experience Experience working with children or young people Good knowledge of the UK curriculum Strong behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Desirable: Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH pupils PGCE or relevant teaching qualification What We Offer: Flexible working hours during school time Competitive hourly rates Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Rewarding opportunities to make a real difference How to Apply: If you are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential, we would love to hear from you.
