Telemed Treatment Unit Manager- 12 Months Maternity Cover

Are you passionate about leading & motivating a team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service?
We are looking for a Treatment Unit Manager to lead our Telemedical services in our Richmond hub in London, on a full time basis, over Monday to Friday.
It doesn't matter if you have a commercial, corporate, or clinical background, you will be able to use your leadership and management skills to ensure BPAS services are delivered effectively.
You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a responsive telemedical termination of pregnancy service that is high quality & client-focused. You will actively manage capacity by utilising your team of clinical & non-clinical staff who work both in the hub & remotely.
Please note, this role is to be worked from our Richmond Telehub.
About You
You will relish leading a remote team, where you will strive for excellence at all times, offering support and coaching when needed to encourage development of colleagues.
You will build excellent working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders & have exceptional communication skills. Some of your key strengths will be being able to demonstrate excellent problem solving, time management, negotiation, & leadership skills. Experience managing a remote team & knowledge of a telephone-based service model is desirable.
Main duties of the job
* Monitor and investigate client safety incidents and complaints via Datix, reporting outcomes to the Operations and Quality Manager and initiating any necessary action.
* Participate in the development of annual budgets and monitor and control unit expenditure in line with agreed budgets in order to maximise unit contribution to BPAS finances.
* Liaise with other units, Operations & Quality Managers and the Booking and Information Centre (BIC) to ensure the best use of appointments and session times, and to work with the Business Development team to secure contracts and maintain business advantage.
* Ensure the effective monitoring of clinical practitioners performance against clinical guidelines, defined quality standards and BPAS practices and procedures. To initiate remedial action as appropriate.
* Initiate Duty of Candour contact with clients following any relevant incident, seeking support/direction as needed from the Client Safety Lead and Area Manager.
* Engage a largely home-based team and maintain strong lines of communication with remote-workers including part home/hub-based FLM team.
* Maintain relevant evidence to demonstrate compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulatory requirements and host inspections from any regulatory bodies such as the CQC, Department of Health and Social Care, Fire Service, Health and Safety Executive.

Salary £48,152 - £57,351 per annum - depending on skills and experience (Inclusive of OLW)
Hours 36 per week to be worked flexibly over Monday to Friday. More will be discussed at interview.

Qualifications
* A Level standard of education or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* HND or Degree, DMS or other post-graduate management qualification
