Qualified 12A/B Traffic Management Operatives – Bodmin
Our clients require Traffic Management Operatives to carry out 12A Installation, maintenance and removal of Static Temporary Traffic Management measures on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways for schemes incorporating contraflow operations and/or temporary road markings.
Due to the nature of the industry, each role requires a certain flexibility and must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.
Successful candidates for any role of TM Operative should have:
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to carry out work to a high standard
* Good communication skills
* Good timekeeping skills
* Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours
* Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request
* Ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards
* A can-do and responsible attitude to work
Applicants must:
* Hold a 12 A/B Lantra qualification
* Have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 points
* Minimum 1 year driving experience
* Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test when required
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekend and bank holidays when required.
Rate of Pay:
Up to £156 per shift to start, with increased payments for weekend and bank holiday work.
These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:
* Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
* Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
* Weekly Pay
* No umbrella payments or fees
* Only Tax and National Insurance deductions, which will be shown on your payslip.
