The Vacancy
Public Health is the system lead for identifying actual and potential health needs and developing strategic solutions to promote wellbeing, prevent ill-health, and improve outcomes for those experiencing health and wellbeing challenges, through evidence-based practice.
The Public Health Team in North Lincolnshire Council is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual to support administrative duties. The role will be interesting and varied, primarily supporting the infant feeding team but may also include tasks for the wider public health team.
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:
* Good organisational skills
* Knowledge and experience of monitoring budgets
* IBT2 qualification or equivalent
* Good IT skills, including experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of spreadsheet design and operation
* Experience in providing finance reports
* An understanding of external bid and funding processes
* Good interpersonal skills
* The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Previous experience of taking minutes
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
* Experience in organising meetings, including liaising with the chair to send invites and agendas
