Come be a part of this global manufacturing company at its market leading Instrumentation Products Division Europe site based in Barnstaple. Be a part of this growing site as it goes through a transformation period with brand new technology coming in and an increase in projects with expanding clients from the automotive and Oil & Gas industry.
At the Barnstaple site, as a CNC setter you will be responsible for the creation of tube-fittings, valves, manifolds, and further components with CNC equipment and brand new technology coming in. Responsibility will be yours for keeping to quality standards for set components made for a large variety of international projects.

Set and operate CNC machines (including lathes and mills) to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards
Interpret and follow engineering drawings, routings, and documentation accurately
Support continuous improvement activities by contributing to best practice sharing and keeping to site standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety principles and company requirement standardsSkills required:
CNC machine setting and operating previous experience - and/or manual machining background
Can read and interpret engineering drawings
Basic understanding of measuring tools such as; gauges, verniers, calliper. Experience with measuring and keeping to correct components specifications
Previous experience using similar site machinery but training will be provided if not; Okuma and Doosan lathes, Mazak and Bridgeport Mills, Wickman 6 Spindle Machine
Experience with Pneumatic components will be a strong bonus to have
