Your role as a Meallmore Registered Home Manager will include:
7. Responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the care home ensuring you deliver services to the highest quality that meet both internal and external requirements, while ensuring the residents are placed at the centre of the service’s philosophy.
8. Ensures the care home provides a safe and stimulating environment for residents, and promotes dignity, respect and fulfilling of potential in line with National Care Standards.
9. Drive business performance and quality of care.
10. Provide support and professional supervision to care staff and nursing staff as appropriate.
11. To uphold the business values, aims and objectives.
12. Established leadership skills to manage large teams.
13. Demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work with residents, families and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and skills:
14. Proven management experience at a similar level
15. NMC registered (desirable but not essential)
16. Solid experience delivering elderly and dementia care in a medium to large sized care home setting
17. Experience of delivering against key performance indicators, including delivering positive outcomes for residents, Care Inspectorate compliance, sales, leadership, and financial management
18. Train and supervise staff
19. Ensure confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home is maintained
