Social Worker - Family Safeguarding

We are looking for a qualified social worker to support the provision of duty cover for our client's Family Support Teams, which will involve short-term work, covering visits, meetings, section 47 enquiries and other tasks as needed. The intention would not be that this role will be allocated to families on a long-term basis.
This is not an Intake role, the Family Support Teams support children and families on a longer-term basis, including children whose names are on the Child Protection Register and those in pre and care proceedings.
You will be Office based 5 days a week, this is not a hybrid role.
About you:
1. Driving licence and be able to travel across the Vale of Glamorgan as needed
2. To be qualified and registered with Social Care Wales
3. Experience within this area of practice as there will be a need to hit the ground running'
4. Be kind and able to work in a strength-based way.
To be considered for this post you must be registered with Social Care Wales, at least 3 years post qualifying experience as a social worker and have not left a Local Authority permanent contract within Wales in the last 6 months.
What you need:
5. A degree in Social Work or equivalent
6. Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
7. Completed relevant post-qualifying training
8. Enhanced DBS check
9. Excellent communication and written skills
