Were working with a fast-growing, award-winning furniture supplier with over 35 years of industry success. As they expand across the UK and Ireland, theyre seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-potential region and drive growth in the retail and contract furniture sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and convert new business opportunities with furniture retailers across the North
Manage and grow existing accounts, building long-term, trusted relationships
Develop and execute a 3-year growth strategy aligned with company expansion goals
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
Lead multiple projects, managing timelines, expectations, and supply chain coordination
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and product development
Deliver monthly sales forecasts and performance updates to senior leadership
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience selling furniture into retailers

Strong knowledge of furniture categories and customer segments
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Highly organised with strong planning and reporting abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel across the region (with occasional overnight stays)
Full UK driving licence (clean, with no pending convictions)
