Our Resource Management (RM) team ensures we have the right people for the right jobs, at the right time, in the right places. Resource Management delivers workforce and people deployment solutions in collaboration with the business, supporting Fair Work Access, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Development, Engagement and providing Career Enhancing Experiences.
As a Resource Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Resource Officers to deliver workforce and people deployment solutions, often in fast paced and changing environments. You will work in partnership with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and progress professionally for those with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Responsible for the management of all demand requests using workforce planning systems.
* Support the Resourcing Senior Lead to deliver on business strategic and people priorities including fair work allocation and regular skills reviews.
* Deliver operational rhythm and reporting insights that identify trends, risks and actions for the business.
* Oversee headcount planning and movements including monthly reconciliation, interaction with Human Capital (HC) and recruitment for people planning. Includes transfers in/out, secondments, visa checks, and supporting business cases for permanent moves. Annual headcount budget planning and half-year review.
* Line management, development and coaching of the Resource Officers within the team.

* You bring experience from Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, or Operational people management.
* You excel in stakeholder management and influencing, with the ability to build authentic long-term relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders.
* You demonstrate resilience and the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
* You communicate with impact, adapting your style to the audience.
* You have strong commercial acumen and the ability to use resourcing metrics and KPIs to inform decision-making. You also possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
