We are looking for a candidate who excels in communication to engage with tenants through various methods, ensuring understanding and compliance with tenancy conditions. The role involves a broad range of tenancy and neighbourhood management tasks, aimed at meeting and exceeding performance benchmarks and quality standards. As a key representative of Dacorum Borough Council to its tenants, professionalism, diligence, and teamwork are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Housing Management, with qualities such as innovation, organizational skills, and enthusiasm. Strong communication skills, proactive issue resolution, curiosity, negotiation, and investigative abilities are highly valued. A respectful, empathetic, yet assertive approach to interactions, along with the ability to build productive relationships with external agencies and handle high-pressure situations, will help address complex challenges effectively.
We particularly seek candidates who are adaptable and open to embracing changes that enhance service delivery. A basic understanding of Housing Law and experience managing stressful situations in a public-sector housing environment are advantageous.
