Role Introduction
The Assistant Music Administration Manager, also known as Assistant Music Schools Manager, will support the efficient operation of the Music Schools through effective management and administrative tasks. The main responsibilities include managing concerts, competitions, masterclasses, and music exams. The role involves providing direct support to the Music Schools Manager and working within a team of seven, including administrators and stewards.

Main Duties
* Act as the first point of contact for Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs), including scheduling, queries, induction, IT support, and communication.
* Support and develop the Maestro system for managing lessons, ensembles, events, and other administrative functions.
* Manage concerts, competitions, and masterclasses, including planning, communication, and logistics.
* Ensure the Music Schools are maintained and kept tidy, including room setup and equipment checks.
* Organize and coordinate exams, including booking, entries, scheduling, and results distribution.
* Assist the Music Schools Manager with reporting, facilities management, equipment, and digital integration ideas.
Additional Responsibilities
* Develop understanding of safeguarding procedures and promote welfare.
* Maintain confidentiality and support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Working Pattern
The role is 32.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am-4:30pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. Work is onsite at Eton for 38 weeks/year, with potential longer hours during busy periods. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks, with paid leave during school holidays.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have a love of music or a willingness to learn, proficiency in IT (especially Microsoft Office), interest in digital tools, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility, organization, and a proactive approach to improving systems are also valued.
