Your new role
As an IT Technician, you’ll provide day‑to‑day technical support across the Trust, ensuring staff and students can work and learn without disruption. This is a hands ‑on role, ideal for someone with solid school‑based IT experience who can hit the ground running. You’ll work Monday–Thursday, 8:00–16:00, and Friday, 8:00–15:30, starting as soon as possible.Key Responsibilities
1. Providing first line IT support across the school
2. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
3. Maintaining devices, peripherals, and classroom technologies
4. Supporting staff with technical queries and system access
5. Ensuring ICT suites and AV equipment operate smoothly
6. Assisting with general IT administration and maintenance tasks
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
7. Previous experience working as an IT Technician in a school setting
8. A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
9. Availability to start immediately
10. Strongmunication and problem‑solving skills
11. A calm, proactive, and supportive approach to technical challenges
