SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School | Chiswick | September Start
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chiswick is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and helping every pupil thrive both academically and personally.
The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential. Staff work closely together and place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships with pupils and families.
The role:
* Supporting pupils with additional learning and developmental needs across the primary age range
* Working on a 1:1 basis and within small group interventions
* Assisting the class teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Encouraging social development, confidence and independence
* Supporting children both inside and outside of the classroom
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with children within a school, nursery or similar setting
* A patient, caring and proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Experience with SEN is beneficial but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
