An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual to join LALS as Hub Admin Assistant within the Central team based at County Hall. Our main areas of work include learner enrolments, data processing, and accreditation work with exam/awarding bodies. We seek someone with attention to detail and previous admin and data input experience. Experience in an Adult Learning setting and familiarity with Awarding bodies and Exam boards are advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The role is hybrid, involving work from home and at County Hall as needed. You will be supported by an established team during your training period.
About the Role
1. Answer calls on our enrolment line and enrol learners onto courses, providing excellent customer service.
2. Process data accurately and timely, with good attention to detail.
3. Register learners and claim certificates according to awarding body guidelines.
4. Understand and use IT systems effectively.
5. Handle enquiries via telephone or email from the public or staff.
6. Make routine calls to obtain information or resolve queries.
7. Provide Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to ensure appropriate course enrolments or referrals.
8. Support the delivery of exams and materials in compliance with awarding body requirements.
9. Input data into the Management Information System (MIS) and extract/use information to support services.
10. Arrange meetings and take minutes.
11. Follow policies and procedures, resolving queries promptly.
12. Perform other duties within the scope of the role.
13. Be flexible to meet service needs, including travel within the County.

Minimum Requirements
* Good written and spoken English and numeracy skills (Level 2 or above).
* Experience with software such as Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
* Customer care experience.
* Administrative skills including data input, record maintenance, email and phone responses.
* Flexible attitude, including evening work (until 7pm) once a week and occasional Saturdays.
