An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for recruitment of a Band 5 or Band 6 Occupational Therapist (depending on experience) to join our team for 12 months. Our service provides a three tiered model of service delivery including universal, targeted and specialist interventions to children and young people from birth to 18 years across Tayside. This post will be within the Dundee and Angus locality team, based within Armitstead Child Development Centre, Dundee.
This post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work with a range of children and young people, and gain / improve on specialist skills in Child Health Occupational Therapy. You will be required to work in a variety of community settings including home visits, mainstream schools, and out-patient clinics. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including other health professionals, education, and social work.
We are looking for an individual who are has good communication skills and is committed to multi disciplinary team working. Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. The Occupational Therapy Service offers supervision, appraisal, regular in-service training and is committed to Continued Professional Development.

Hours of work are: Band 5 or Band 6 post, 12 month fixed term/secondment contract, 37 hrs per week
