Job Description Job title: Commercial Account Handler Salary: £35,000 Location: Warwickshire PURPOSE OF ROLE We’re working with a reputable, growing insurance business seeking a commercial account handler. This role suits someone with commercial insurance experience who enjoys client interaction and values accuracy and compliance. While primarily aimed at experienced account handlers, they will also consider assistant account handlers with strong transferable admin or client service experience and motivation to build a career in insurance. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a portfolio of commercial clients Support policy renewals and documentation Advise on products and identify coverage improvements Liaise with insurers to secure terms Ensure compliance with regulatory standards Maintain accurate records and systems Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service DAY-TO-DAY Respond to client queries Prepare policy documents and process renewals Handle MTAs, new business, and cancellations Update client records Support Account Executives and team members Stay updated on market and compliance changes EXPERIENCE As an experienced Account Handler, you will have commercial insurance handling experience, a strong understanding of insurance markets, and familiarity with FCA compliance Experience with platforms like Acturis is beneficial, and working towards an ACII qualification is desirable For Assistant Account Handler candidates, strong transferable experience in administration or client service is essential, coupled with a genuine interest in insurance and a clear desire to develop professionally SKILLS Strong organisation and time management Excellent communication and client service Attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and team-oriented mindset If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does, please contact me now on 07458 162842 or email us at admin@lawesgroup.co.uk
