HR Advisor – Interim (6 months fixed term)
Shettleston, Glasgow – Up to £35k per annum
Role Summary
Real Life Options is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly and professional HR team on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a values‑driven organisation and support managers across a wide range of HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Employee relations casework – first point of contact for managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters
* Provide expert advice and coaching to managers, ensuring fair and consistent handling of cases
* Design, coordinate and deliver training programmes (in‑person and online) to support staff development and compliance
* Support onboarding and induction processes to equip new staff for success
* Guide line managers on long‑term sickness and return‑to‑work plans, tracking progress and adjusting support measures as needed
* Request and analyse GP and occupational health reports to support long‑term sick leave management
* Manage and implement system changes on the HRIS
* Monthly reporting on HR metrics
Qualifications and Skills
* CIPD qualified (Level 5) or working towards this – experience in supporting and advising managers with employee relations and casework is key
* Experience in social care or other regulated settings an advantage
* Support the Scotland region; remote services – driver with vehicle access an advantage for ad‑hoc travel
* Strong communication, flexible, passionate, self‑motivated, reliable, caring, inclusive, and respectful of values and behaviours (Respect, Honesty, Responsibility, Excellence)
