Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes serving our deli counter, dining terrace and our retail offering, according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in the organisation and mise en place of ingredients for service
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
Support with inventory management and stock rotation as required
Follow all food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or catering setting
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices
Experience in meal preparation and plating presentation is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important
