Overview
Job title: Accounts Assistant. Location: central Bristol. This role offers the chance to expand knowledge, experience and personal development in an inquisitive environment. The Accounts Assistant is responsible for accurately processing invoices and bills across our global entities, ensuring deadlines are met and contributing to continuous improvement of the team.
Responsibilities
* Financial Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments ensuring right first time accuracy.
* Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
* Conduct regular bank reconciliations, credit card transactions and assist with cash management.
* Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and general finance tasks.
* Raise, receive and monitor purchase orders.
* Assist with accounts payable processes such as documenting bills and managing our expenses system, helping colleagues with their queries.
* Complete project expenses and maintain these on the project management system.
* Perform supplier reconciliations on request to identify any missing invoices or payments.
* Setting up new vendor accounts on the system and checking details.
* Support the organisation in day-to-day operations and assist with ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
* You may be AAT qualified / studying OR have developed your career entirely through experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft and other financial software applications.
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
* Diligent and thorough individual who takes pride in their work and likes to work with others.
