Negotiation & Site Visits: Conduct site visits and negotiate with developers to amend plans (where appropriate), ensuring high quality design and adherence to regulations. Pre-application Advice: Provide professional advice to residents, agents, and developers regarding the feasibility of proposals. Report Writing & Committee Attendance: Prepare detailed officer reports and present recommendations to the Planning Committee. Planning Policy & Law: Ensure compliance with the Local Plan and National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).
